Woods Bay Cottages was built in 1965 and was originally built and developed by Jim & Lynn Grisdale.

Woods Bay Cottages and Marine remains in the family to this day and is now being operated by James and Kim Grisdale.

The Grisdale family homesteaded the Woods Bay and Moon River area 85 years ago. They are very well respected in the community and surrounding area and they're experts on what Georgian Bay has to offer.
